Nestled into native bush surrounds, the house was carefully planned and positioned to optimise hillside views across Hutt Valley to Wellington Harbour.
Central to the living, is a large island with an American Oak kitchen. Large stacker doors lead from the open plan living to the large curved deck designed to follow the sun.
This house was awarded Gold and Regional Category at the 2018 Master Build House of the Year competition.
Architecturally designed by John Mills, this cedar clad home has been expertly crafted, sitting seamlessly into the natural landscape
Living
Large format windows that extend to the ground floor have been included to maximise views and light. Low opening windows are installed for ventilation at floor level so views are not impacted.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms are all tiled with level entry walk in showers. Careful consideration of fittings and fixtures have enhanced this completed bathroom. American Oak panelling contrasts with the tile and paint finished walls.
