Designed by Foundation Architects, this new 3 bedroom home was cleverly engineered to anchor to the existing rock face while seamlessly float above a section of steep natural ground.
Large full height glazing runs continuously across the building façade to maximise views out to Wellington Harbour.

Cantilevered Structure
Extensive engineering was incorporated into this design to allow for a floating cross laminated flooring system. The system provided a bracing diaphragm, designed to float over a minimal steel post.

Master bedroom with sea views that look directly to Matiu / Somes Island in the Wellington Harbour. Large full height glazing on façade capture all available light with large sliding door set providing access to a private deck space.
